The challenge
Machine operators spend the day on the floor, not behind a screen. Dense safety slides turn into a box-ticking exercise.
The previous version was a three-minute information dump that was easy to skim and easy to forget.
The solution
Scenario first
Each part opens with a worker about to make a dangerous mistake, then pauses to explain.
Three layers
Why mistakes happen, how to prevent them, and what to do when something isn't right.
Colour code
White for what to do, black for what not to do, so the message is instant.
The result
- Translated into four languages, checked with native-speaking workers.
- A five-question check that shows real understanding.
- A repeatable structure for future safety topics.
Crisis response: evacuate or shelter
